“Whats the use of having a great depth of field

if there is not an adequate depth of feeling?”

Eugene Smith

I love the smell of the pencil freshly sharpened, its perfect point, its brilliant dazzling colors, the polished surface. I love colors in art and nature and throughout my life I’ve been totally engaged in them and expected them to be present and protagonist of my professional life as well.

From ceramic work-rooms where I mixed colored powders and designed and painted tuscan terracotta I went into fashion studios where as a fashion designer my passion for colors found life in cloth, textiles, texture and infinite shades.

Then my encounter with a world to me already familiar: cooking. Food attracted me for its chromatic appearance, for the possibilities of composing the different ingredients and expressing my creativity. The blog I opened some time ago allowed me to share all of this with the rest of the world.
